Poured from 12oz bottle.
A- Poured a golden pale yellow color. Two finger white head shows medium retention. Streaky lacing left on the sides of the glass.
S- Light floral hops in the front of the aroma. Bready sweet malt nose comes in next with the distinct New Belgium malt aroma. Light citrus hops give off a lemony aroma to finish everything off.
T- Light floral hop in the front with a bigtime lemon like overaroma. Middle of the beer shows a nice bready malt character with hints of grainy undertones. Citrus hops show up in the ending with light orange, more lemon overtones, and hints of apricot. Light alcohol flavors in the ending bring this beer full circle.
M- Light mouthfeel. Carbonation is good for the style. Citrus hops, light bready malts, and hints of floral flavors left on the palate. Aftertaste is alcohol, apricot, hints of grainy bready malts, and citrus. Flavors were very well balanced for the style. No off flavors were present except a distinct New Belgium malt taste that creeps into a lot of their beers. Light alcohol drying on the palate.
O- This beer was good. Is it something I would drink a lot of?? Maybe not. A nice clean tasting summertime beer. Nothing over the top special about this beer but I did enjoy it. The ABV doesn't show up much. Overall another nice beer from New Belgium.
