Poured from a 12oz bottle into a tumbler. Gift from Carlos, from Cervezas in South Miami.
A: Very nice looking blond ale. Slight haziness, with a yellow golden hue that exudes summer. 1 1/2 fingers worth of a bright white head which dissipates slowly, leaving a some small spotted lacing. Carbonation is streaming off the bottom of the glass.
S: Nose has big juicy citrus notes. Great lemon, grapefruit, and floral notes. The bouquet has a slight malty sweetness, albeit very faint.
T: Great hop bite, but even better refreshing citrus flavors that compliment the bitterness. Big lemon flavors are coming through. I can session this, but unfortunately it isn't available in my area.
M: Bordering on light to medium bodied. Mouth feel is velvety, coating my mouth and cheeks. Carbonation does a great job cleansing and moving the flavors along, as well as resetting my taste buds. At 5.2% ABV, I don't get any alcohol presence.
