Poured from bottle to an imperial pint. Best by 18 SEP 2011 stamped on bottle.
A: Clear gold with very active carbonation and a white, foamy head that leaves nice lacing.
S: Malt, lemon, and biscuit.
T: Malty and smooth with a strong lemon presence and an apricot tartness. A very slight peppery kick. Just a touch of hops at the finish.
M: Light bodied without being watered down. Extremely drinkable.
O: Will be taking the rest of this sixer to the ballpark tomorrow. I enjoy this much more than any American Pale Wheat Ale I've tried, but it has all the summertime drinkability and lemon presence that many folks flock too during the hot months. This could be a summer staple for me.
