Fluffy white two-finger head topping a very clear pale gold brew. Head retention is average; lacing covers the inside of the glass. Not much visible carbonation.
Smell is an amalgam of a whole bunch of things. Sweet pale malts, grassy aromas, nice sweet citrusy orange notes, and a bit of apricot in the background. Not exactly hop-forward, but definitely leaning that way. I really like the balance and the mix of citrus and vegetable hops.
Taste is not as impressive as the smell. Heavier on the grassy hops, the apricot and citrus are there, but not as prominent. Malts feel much weaker in the taste, rather lacking in a beer like this, and leaving it unbalanced and uneven. Only a bit of bitterness at about the 3/4 mark, which is quickly gone. Slight lemony pinch that brings some lightness to it.
Mouthfeel is quite light. Could use more carbonation, in my opinion. Finish is quick and dry with a bit of citrus sweetness.
A pretty good beer, with a nice variety of fruity hops, but I find the flavors unbalanced and rather disjointed. Needs a stronger malt base, more carbonation.
