Coppery amberish peach and orange colored beer, decent white head to it, looks pretty nice and stayed that way for the most part. Aroma was heavier of whiskey than one would think from the appearance, not too many orange colored beers that can absorb this much barrel aroma.

Peach flavor wasn't huge, there's some mind trickery I think when the whiskey flavor comes across so pronounced, it kinda blocks out more of the peach. Not overly sweet or boozy, but a substantial beer. The sour notes are decent, could use a little more to help balance out the booze, but any fan of peaches and a beer like Vlad the impaler would prolly be all about this. A little vanilla becomes noticeable on the tongue that was too obscured to tell in the aroma.

I wholeheartedly recommend this beer and would be super psyched if they ever decided to bottle this beer, I'd keep quite a few of 'em stocked in the cellar.

On-tap at Leon’s Full Service in Atlanta.

Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a slightly off-white head that leaves solid lacing.

Smells of light malts with good amounts of moderately tart medium fruits – pears and peaches. Also present are good amounts of funk and lighter amounts of leafy hops.

Tastes similar to how it smells. Moderately dry light malts up front are joined quickly by solidly tart pear and peach flavors. Midway through the flavor profile sweetens a bit as the peaches turn sweeter and hints of oak and spicy whiskey come into play. Solid funk makes an appearance near the end, fading out into a crisp and moderately tart ending. Mouthfeel is good, with active carbonation.

Overall I thought this was a nice treatment to an already solid beer. Well worth a shot.

Had this on tap at Leon's Full Service in Decatur. Lauren Salazar was in town doing a bit of an ATL tour, and she brought along some delicious treats with her.

Served in a New Belgium Globe Glass.

Appearance was a thick hazy amber. It may have been a shade darker than your typical "amber" color, but that could have been because it was hazy making it look darker. Point is, it was kind of a orange/brown/amber color. Had THICK white head. Great body on the head, thick and fluffy, and lasted for a good while.

Smell was distinctly peach. I was impressed at how much peach aroma was imparted into the beer.

Tartest beer I've ever tasted. So deliciously tart. The taste was all from the New Belgium bugs. This beer was much more tart than Le Terroir (and obviously had no dry hopping), but it was a very similar flavor...just with peaches. It had that characteristic New Belgium wild ale flavor. Possibly hard to describe, but if you have more than one of their sours, you'll know what I'm talking about.

This beer an excellent treat. Great peach aroma, extremely tart, and very drinkable. If you're looking for a sour bomb, seek this out.

Growler shared by Adam at Sean's 30th Birthday Extravaganza!

A - Amber colored beer with a small white head that left some spots on the sides.

S - There is a little bit of peach, with some fairly distinctive sour and lacto sour notes. Slight bit of barrel presence.

T - Sour, has the distinctive Love taste with some slight peach taste on the end. It's the same, but a little different, not bad.

M - Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.

O - Not bad, I might like it a little better than most as I like peaches and I do get enough on the end here to consider it a little peachy. Not something I would seek out, but wouldn't turn it out again.

On tap at the Brick Store Pub, served in a baby globe glass.

A - deep semi translucent peach/brown. Off white dissipating head assorted with the glass etching. OK lacing.

S - Best I can describe is pickled fruit.

T - moderate acidity, assorted citrus fruit and great oak presence.

M - light, well carbed and refreshing.

Poured directly from an Okanagan French oak barrel into an oblong New Belgium glass at URGE. Per discussion with Jaime from New Belgium, Felix spent 2 years in an oak foeder and then a portion was aged one more year in peach whiskey barrels to give us this fine beverage, 100% barrel aged Peach Whiskey Love. Jaime was quite drunk, but he seemed to know what he was talking about. I was happy to catch this here after I missed it at Churchill's.

A: Very dark orange and opaque. The be appears to be flat.

S: Peach and whiskey notes waft from the glass. The whiskey is quite strong. I get a lot oak and a little vanilla. There's a light vinegar presence and very little acetone.

T: Mouth puckeringly tart with a pronounced peach flavor. There's a big lactic presence and an upper moderate sourness. Oak is light and whiskey notes are restrained. The finish displays a light acetic acidity. No alcohol is evident.

M: Medium in body with a smooth and sticky mouthfeel. There's a very low acidity.

Overall: Unique and really enjoyable. Worth seeking out if it comes to your area.

Pours a firey ortange golden with a nice white head. Aroma is tart, whiskey barrel, some peaches hanging out there but not as strong as I had hoped for, and a nice finish of some peach skin and slight vanilla. Flavor pretty much followed suit. A medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, a great beer from New Belgium here. A nice reminder that these guys can put out some great stuff.
