Poured into a tulip.
It's a clear dark gold with a white head.
It smells sweet and hoppy. It's very peppery.
It's very sweet, almost like a candy. This would be a problem if it weren't offset by the hops. It's a hoppy beer. The hops sit firmly in the front half of the mouth. The sweetness of the malts and the bitter hops play off of one another nicely.
It's got a smooth mouthfeel with a pretty thin body.
Overall this is a fun beer. For its price tag it beats the hell out of a LOT of other beers on the market. It's a challenging hybrid that is enjoyable and drinkable.
Plus, I really like the label.
