12 oz. bottle poured into a mug.
Appearance: Pours a generally clear straw/gold color with some visible carbonation. Rocky off-white head leaves some lacing.
Smell: Semi-sweet yeasy flavor common to this style, but fairly mild. Not much bite.
Taste: Yeast, orange, and grains, with a somewhat bitter finish and aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Light- to medium-bodied and somewhat grainy.
Drinkability: Fairly drinkable, rather mild, moderate ABV.
A decent easy-to-drink Belgian IPA. I must confess that, despite my love for IPAs and Belgian ales, this is one of my least favorite styles... but I still don't think it is that great compared to other beers of the same style.
