A: Very dark pour, a little bit of rubiness in the light. Bright white head slowly dissipates. Litte bit of lacing left behind.
S: Scent has the floral spiciness present in many of New Belgium's brews. Very nice.
T: Quite bitter in the flavor. Hops are here that I did not at all detect in the smell. Not overwhelming like an IPA, but milder, closer to a pale ale. There's an earthy quality to it as well. Malts emerge as the drink progresses, but hops always dominate.
M: Medium bodied, though crisp in the initial swallow.
D: While I loved their previous winter seasonal Two Below, Snow Day is a very worthy successor.
