From a 12 oz bottle (best before 29 April 2012) into a diconic....
A walnut to dark mahogany color with a really great fluffy light tan
head and massive lacing. (so large that my 13 yr old even commented on it)
Key tip: let this warm up to 50 degrees or so. It improves immensely!
Having warmed up, the aromas are complex ....the smokey malt comes through, even the wheat the brewer mentions on the label, comes through just in the smell.
A nice tangy, malty concoction thanks to a great blend of hops, smokedness and maybe a spice coming out?
Thanks to the relatively high carbonation, the feel is very nice.
Really, a solid brew; not a winter warmer at this ABV but
worth picking up.
