From 12/10/11 notes. Purchased for $7.99 at Schneider's in DC. Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into my Bell's tulip.
a - Pours a somewhat hazy bright yellow orange color with one finger of fluffy white head and moderate carbonation evident. head lasts for about two minutes and leaves a ton of lacing on the glass.
s - Smells of super fresh citrus hops, grapefruit, oranges, pine hops, fruity malts, and light tropical fruits. Loads of oranges and citrus hops, I thought it had a really great, fresh nose.
t - Tastes of oranges, lemons, citrus hops, grapefruit, fruity malts, and pine hops. Light bitter bite but not too much at all. Very good, but not as great as the nose.
m - Medium body and low to moderate carbonation. The slightest bitter bite. Would have liked a little bit more carbonation.
o - Overall I thought this weas a really nice IPA. I thought the nose was fantastic, and had a ton of oranges and citrus hops; smelled very fresh. Would have liked a tiny bit more carbonation but something I'd certainly order again.

Orange appearance, deft inch of white head. Aroma got its jam going, amarillo by morning.
Taste dropped plenty of citrus and pine. Really light on its feet, bitterness right where you want it, not abrasive. This has a definite San Diego ipa thing going for it.

Bottle: Poured a copper color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of fresh green hoppy notes with light citrus undertone sis quiet pleasant. Taste is also dominated by fresh green hops notes with light citrus notes and dry caramel malt is barely detectable. Bitterness is present but well balanced. Body is average for style with good carbonation. Not earth shattering but well brewed for what it is.
