A: Pours a deep yellow gold with a solid fluffy white head that is slow to fade
S: smells very citrusy but more of a grapefruit rind kind of smell and a slight pine as well. Sweetness from the malt struggles to come through
T: Very resinous and herbal at the front with a slight pine in the flavor. Malt battles back the hop flavors with some caramel sweetness before another dose of hops makes an appearance. Aftertaste is more herbal goodness with some malt sweetness that is quick to fade and leaves you wanting more
M: prickly carbonation and medium bodied so pretty well done. Beer feels slick and smooth
O: This beer is sure to please an IPA lover like myself. I wouldn't search it out but I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again when it comes out next.

A - Poured with two fingers of bone white foam on top of a clear, golden colored body. The head settles slowly and leaves thick, sticky lace on the glass.

S - A pungent aroma of pine and sweaty hops with some grapefruit in the background.

T - Pine and sweaty hops up front with some light bready malt. A hint of toffee in the middle with more pine and some sweaty character in the middle. Finishes with light lemony character, pine hops and moderate bitterness to balance the bready malt.

M - Medium body, moderate carbonation, and a dry finish.

D - The aroma is very nice and it has a good balance between the malt and the hops with just enough malt to keep it drinkable but not enough to get in the way of the hops. Unfortunately it has a lack of hop flavor that I have found to be typical of wet hop IPAs, where the excellent aroma is not backed up by the same level of hoppy goodness in the flavor profile

(Served in a tulip glass)

A- The crystal clear body of deep orange has a slow swirling carbonation that supports a sticky thick beige head that last and last.

S- The amazing full green juicy hop aroma is floral with green pineapple, green cinnamon and spice qualities blended together. There is a nice caramel malt sweetness underneath for support.

T- the green bright pungent hops have a pine resin flavor that grows as the beer opens and a sight soapy flavor aswell. The sweet malt is present but stays underneath the hop flavors. The finish has a pungent bitterness that coats the throat after each sip.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a soft spicy fizz to it with a bit of alcohol heat in the finish.

O- This beer has a great aroma with lots of depth and a full hop flavor but not quite the complexity of the nose. The pungent bitterness tends to dominate more than the other hop flavors, but it still has nice flavor.

No freshness info. Poured from bomber into a tulip. A - Clear light orange with a minimal white head. This recedes to leave extensive lacing. S - Citrus and floral hops abound with little other aromas. T - Hops forward on the taste as well with an upfront flavor of citrus and floral hops with a minimal malt component. Very fresh tasting. M - Medium body with a gentle carbonation. They wanted to focus on the hops, and this beer delivers. Delicious aroma and flavor of citrus and floral hops. Highly recommend.

Another courtesy of BA nomasnomore. 22oz bottle poured into bubble pint glass. Poured a nice medium gold color with just under an inch of white head that had very good retention and lacing.

There was a very nice hop aroma, mostly pine with some citrus notes. There wasn't much, if any, malt noticeable in the nose. On the tongue, a bit more malt showed through to give a nice backbone for the tangy hops. This was a very nice tasting IPA.

The body was average for the style, nowhere near full, but not light either. Drinkability was very good, I could probably have a couple of these. Overall, a very nice little brew, certainly worth trying when you see it.

22oz bomber poured into a pint glass
written from notes taken on 1/2/12

A: Pours a big 2.5 fingers of snow white head, dense, with good retention. Light golden amber, crystal clear with lots of bubbly carbonation. Leaves a lot of real cool layered lacing

S: huge orange and tangerines , peach, a touch of honey like malt sweetness, pineapple

T: again citrus hops, this time big grapefruit, orange, lemon zest, piney hops as well, hop bomb for a single ipa, but enough sweet malt to balance , floral hops more subtle, peach, more bitterness on taste than smell,

M/d:smooth, moderately low carbonation, medium bodied, good drink ability for amount of hop presence

O: a pretty damn tasty beer, big hop presence but maintains balance,  and the price is right, def worth a try

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a Dogfish Head signature glass.

A: Incredibly clear, some slight head. Great lace! Some bubbles.

S: Hops. Sweetish malts provide a very balanced smell.

T/O: Good, but not great? Piney, sweetish (like cactus juice?), and pleasant, but not transcendent. A mediocre IPA with strong chops. Incredibly drinkable. Not so much recommended (especially considering the price) but it's NOT bad.

M: Sufficient.

A: Poured a one finger eggshell white head that has relatively small bubbles. Color is an apple cider golden brown Lacing is moderate with thin wisps of bubbles sticking around.

S: Floral, tangy orange zest, pine, malt, and caramel. Very aromatic, great!

T: Piney, hoppy goodness. Sugary grapefruit, grassy, saltines.

M: Thin body with only mild carbonation. Very smooth but borders on watery. However very smooth and easy to drink.

O: Average American IPA, what I really struggled with was the lack of backbone.

A - Poured out a clear, highly carbonated, golden orange color with a two-finger, head of fluffy, white foam. It left some thin trails of lace on the glass.

S - It smelled of pine and floral notes.

T - It had a spicy, herbal taste with a burnt toast maltiness. Some sweet caramel and toffee notes, too.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry, clean finish.

O - This is a really nice IPA. I liked the herbal, floral presence.
