Poured from bottle into tulip. The pour is really nice. A slightly hazy brownish orange color...nice pour head that dissolves quickly but nice lacing. Smells of hops and malts, but a cotton candy smell is also present. Very good aroma.
Taste is very solid. Full of hops but not overly done. Well balanced with the malts, but nothing else really stands out.
Its slightly bitter, but smooth otherwise.
Overall, its a great brew. Nice spring seasonal, but it doesnt quite seem like a seasonal. I feel that a small local microbrewery would be super excited to serve this as their year-round APA.
I am a big fan of NB, and this doesnt disappoint.
