Bottled 12-21-2011. $6.99 at Jax Package Store. Poured into a pint glass.
a- pours a lively reddish, purple-ish color, with about a half inch of white fluffy head that dissipates into a thick ring around the glass.
s- delicious. cinnamon powder, cocoa powder and chocolate, chilies, light hops, grass. best part of the beer.
t- cocoa, cinnamon, and chocolate right from the beginning, it's got a hoppy bite on the tongue with a nice spiciness that lingers. it has a subtle warmth as it goes down. the chilie becomes more present as i drink more of it. but overall, the sweetness overpowers the spices. a little too sweet.
m- medium body, but it taste's syrupy. it's got a good, crisp carbonation that helps it out. alcohol is not noticeable.
o- glad i tried this one. unique beer at a great price.
