I don't have much to say about this one.. Mostly that the taste is a bit metallic ...or something. I don't know, but I'm not all that impressed by this New Belgium. That's not to say its a bad beer or that I would turn one down, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a pale ale.

Starting to dig the concept of good beer in a can. Another one courtesy of newman. Only negative is I can't reuse the container for homebrew.
App - Beautiful golden color, fairly pale. Brilliantly clear - must be filtered. Poured a nice white head with some creaminess and retention.
Smell - bit of a DMS/corn aroma typical of lagers, maybe a bit of hop, but otherwise fairly clean after the initial venting.
Taste - Very fleeting initial malt sweetness, then a whole lot of hoppiness. Hops have more of a citrus, APA/IPA kind of vibe than a noble hop vibe. Some fruitiness that hopefully is hop related, and not esters. Assertively but not overpoweringly bitter in the finish.
Medium body and med-high carbonation. No astringency or warming - MF feels right for a spritzy lager.
Not the cleanest and most refined of lagers, but definitely a lot of flavor in a refreshing beer. Slightly disappointed I just have the one can of this one - would be curious to see how it strikes me on another day.
