Transparent amber with a substantial white head. This is a pretty looking beer.
Smells of citrusy hops with faint caramel and toffee.
Nutty and caramel flavor right out of the gate. As the beer warms up the nut takes a slightly stronger hold. For a supposed 60 IBUs, relatively few hops show up on the palate.
Good level of carbonation. Light-medium body carries the nuttiness well.
Overall, this is a decent beer. I won't buy a six-pack of it, but I'd encourage a friend to try a pint.
