A: Slightly cloudy amber in color. Forms a moderate sized, creamy-bubbled, white head. Leaves a good amount of lacing on the way down.
S: Mildly sweet, floral, with lots of citrus. Unfortunately it doesn't have the potency I was hoping for.
T: Very nice. Mild-to-moderate light malt sweetness. Then the hops come in: lots of citrus. Orange, grapefruit, and lemon to a lesser extent. Some floral notes. Sugary, with hints of frosting and honey. Quick, bitter finish.
M: Medium bodied with a slight oily slickness. Appropriate carbonation. Moderate bitterness.
O: A nice IPA; certainly one of the better ones, though I did feel it turned out a bit too sweet for my tastes. However, this wasn't the amazing IPA I was expecting from an Alpine Collaboration (and lets face it, this might have been brewed at NB, but this is an Alpine beer all the way). Never the less, still a quite enjoyable IPA.
