22oz bottle poured into a Duvel artist tulip
A - clear, medium amber with huge fluffy white head. Beautiful looking beer with great lacing.
S - piney, resinous, mild citrus. Fantastic nose on this collab. Never had anything from Alpine but their hand has to be at work here owing to the aroma profile.
T - taste follows the nose. Bitter hops of pine and citrus. Sweeter than some west coast offerings but not overly so. Smooth and creamy the hops carry through the entire drink. Really well done.
M - medium. Creaminess makes it heavier than some DIPAs but less so than others. Middle of the road maybe?
O - as I said I've never had an Alpine beer but this ones quality must be attributed to their input. Very hoppy beer for a normal NB offering. This is one I would drink all the time if it were available. Easily one of the best LoF offerings to date a great DIPA on its own.

Reviewing from notes - had this one on 11/3/12. This came in the typical Lips of Faith 22 oz. bomber. The pour revealed a clear and bright golden orange body. The white head left plenty of sticky lace.
The smell was citrus and pine. Earthy and leafy with hard candy qualities. A bit pungent like B.O. (in a good way) with floral notes too. Tobacco leaves and bread crust. Such a robust and complex aroma!
The taste was tropical fruits and marmalade. Some malt sweetness but the bitterness wins here. Citrus pith and aspirin. So tasty and complex. I would love to have this as a regular offering!
The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Dialed right in the sweet spot.
