Poured from a 650ml bottle into a pint glass. Fresh as just hit the market after being released. It was a clear copper color with moderate carb streams. It had a good sized, white head that settled to a constant 1/8" foam cap. Great lacing with lots sticking.
The aroma was awesome with dank pine mixed with tropical citrus and grassy hops. Good sweet malt background but it's a hop show. The aroma really got me drooling! The taste was also outstanding with the sweet malt and tropical hops up front with the bitter of the pine coming mid drink but never getting out of control. Really good balance to it. Medium, creamy mouthfeel with good carb levels and nice sweetly bitter aftertaste.
Overall, an excellent ADIPA that I highly recommend. Alpine is one of my favorite brewers and I miss getting to try their beers now that South Bay/Bine & Vine can't ship to Texas. Glad to see them working with one of my other favorite breweries NBB. Great collaboration. Avail here in TX. Rotation - one time release so better as much as I can find. If a regular release, it would be heavy rotation for sure.
