22oz bomber poured to a tulip.
A: Poured a filtered, honey orange. A big, fluffy off-white head rests on an actively carbonated caramel body. Nice, clinging lace.
S: Big hop presence. Dank & spicy medicinal hop explosion. Tropical notes of papaya meld with piney oils. Huge sticky, sappy resin, lemon rind, more hop oils. Hints of wheat crackers & spice. Awesome aroma.
T: Giant, spicy, hoppy bite. Hemp seeds, grapefruit rind and a lingering hop cone bitterness. Loads of sappy hop oils, subtle sweet orange rind with sharp bitterness and lemon zest that completes with an earthy, bitter & dry boozy finish. Some wheat cracker, dry biscuit malts. Dank pine. Bitter earth. Awesome shit.
MF: Bitter hop oils, dryness, medium body. Carbonation was nice. Sticky residue.
O: Pretty damn good, especially yielding the New Belgium label. Alpine clearly holds the dominance in this brew. New Belgium doesn't make anything that comes remotely close to this beer. Aggressively sappy, spicy west coast hops make this a must try.
