22 ounce bottle - $7.99 at Lucky's in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a hazy, pale golden body with a small, quickly receding, white head.
Smell: Slender malts enveloped in fragrant peach juices and noted alcoholic waftiness, with light notes of sweat, citrus, and, to my surprise, even a bit of the molasses with some dedicated sniffing.
Taste: Pale malts with a touch of baguette, dried straw particles. Slight honeyish sweetness alongside the bold peach juice taste. Citrus burst midway. You've got a bit of tartness here, but it seems more a product of the peach juice than any brett action. A little molasses, a little spiciness that's aided by the ramped alcohol heat which gives a clear hint of schnapps on the crispish, drying finish. Subtle acidity with the continued alcoholic heat in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: A fair brew that's interesting enough, though I would've preferred it with less alcohol, as there's a little hotness present. Don't feel particularly like a saison, how about just Belgian Hodgepodge?
