some how the brightness of the honey colored body shines thru the cloudy appearance it has while being poured. a fingers worth of bright white sudsy head slowly settles into a crescent moon shape on top of the beer, lacing is nill. lemon and peach are the first to assault my nose. bottle says that brett is in ther but my nose can't pick it up. Taste is really tart and sweet. along with the fruits, the molasses adds to the sweetness. mouthfeel seems a tad heavy to me for a saison, probably the molasses i'm picking up on. it's nicely carbonated and has a slight stickieness to it. once again i couldn't tell that there was brett in there at all. wish it was more mouth puckering tart and less sweet. none the less it is still very drinkable and refreshing.

On-tap @ the River, Whole Foods Boise ID. Served in a tulip.
A: Semi-hazy straw gold, light lacing. Highly carbed it would seem.
S&T: Bready, light peach, hint of spice and funk, faintly tart, a 'hefty' dose of pilsner malt/grain. Faint honey, dry-ish body, Belgian yeast, more funk and banana.
MF: Lighter body, higher carbonation.
O: Really pretty disappointing, I had higher hopes for this one (peach is RIGHT IN THE TITLE, not in the beer apparently). For a saison I guess its ok, nothing special.
