A) Looks pretty nice, a clear IiPA on the lighter side of the color scale for the style. 1 finger head that has some good retention.
S) Sweet malt and bitter and tropical/fruity hops swirling in the background with just a hint of peppercorn spiceniess.
T) Quite sweet, the tropical/fruit hops stand out a lot more on the tongue. A little bit of bitterness on the finish to clean things up. Strangely reminds me of peach nectar flavor, certainly an interesting flavor comes through in the hop profile. A bit of alcohol on the finish but the 8.5% ABV is not too pronounced.
M) A little chewy with a good amount of carbonation. Quite refreshing for a beer with such high alcohol content.
O) A pretty good beer that falls just a bit short of greatness by being too one-dimensional and also a bit too sweet for my tastes. Be careful with this ale, it is dangerously sessionable for a IIPA!

A--Gold to possible light amber color with medium to thick head and good lacing around the glass. Cloudy as well.
S--Pine and citrus primarily on the nose. I'm a bit stuffed up, so it's kind of hard to differentiate the citrus. Smells like I would expect an Imperial/Double IPA to.
T--Citrus really comes across as grapefruit on the tongue. Big, bitter hit and a great dry finish. Very enjoyable. I can pick up the alcohol as well. Only thing I would say is the bitter might hang on just a bit too long, but IPAs aren't my favorite style so it could be right up most people's alley.
M--Medium body with decent carbonation. Quite drinkable in that regard.
O--Good IPA with the bitter hit you'd expect, and the citrus/grapefruit bit is enjoyable as well.
12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Best by date of Oct. 5, 2014. 8.5% ABV
