Not the best brew, but I just found this at the back of the fridge and thought it would be a quick drainpour...held up pretty well given its not normally a style you want to age for two years. Surprisingly, there are still some notes of hop residuals. Otherwise tastes like a clear, malty lager.

From tasting notes. L: Brilliant straw gold under a 2” clingy and persistent white foam collar. S: Bread and spicy hops. T: Light bread with a spicy bitter finish. F: Creamy, clean, smooth, full bodied, medium carbonation. O: Big malt meets big hops in a very pleasant way.

Color- clear bright gold. Full head.
Aroma- hoppy with hint of roasted almond. A stupid combination. S
Taste- Starts mildly hoppy but fights its lager notes badly and ends as if the worst elements of a lager and IPA were combined. One of the least appealing brews ever offered by New Belgium.
Poured from 650 ml bomber into a Liefmans Goudenband glass (my preferred all purpose beer tasting glass). Tasted on 8/3/2013.
