This poured to a pale straw color with tons of foam. It disappeared strangely fast, but still managed to leave a ton of nice lace behind.
Citrus and phenols come strong in the smell, with a hint of licorice. The taste and mouthfeel come out flimsy, though, with a stack of citrus and not much body or base flavor to hold it up. Mouthfeel is thin, not terrible but I like more body for support. An American take on a Belgian interpretation of an American style, I think they tried too hard to push hops and yeast in a beer that was simply too light to take it.
