Reviewed September 21, 2013 at 1418. Poured a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Nearly no head which whatever it did have dissipated quickly into nothing. Clear goldenrod body.
S: That aroma is outrageously delicious for the season. Cinnamon and nutmeg just boom into the nostrils.
T: Nice pumpkin pie taste pop in throughout and even lingers a bit on the tongue. That nutmeg is the lasting taste of this beer. Grassy bitter notes leaves a nice coating on the tongue.
M: Light body with medium carbonation.
O: Don't let this drink warm up too much because that bitterness gets fairly strong. This brew even though delicious should just be classified as a herbed / spiced beer. The pumpkin barely stands out. Quite delicious if not looking for a pumpkin ale and instead looking for a nice spice holiday brew.
