Pours a nice, rusty orange color with a surprisingly thick head that hangs around for some time. Respectable lacing and possibly the most amount of carbonation I've seen to date in a beer. Light sediment.
Allspice on a light caramel malt. Faint hints of pumpkin flesh and cranberries are present.
Quite dull, considering the potential. Spice up front and cranberry tart on the finish.
Body is thin and uninspiring. Although the appearance of carbonation is admirable, there isn't much present.
The potential is there and I wanted to like it, but I wish everything was more potent and more expressive. Worth a try, but there are much better pumpkin beers available - hopefully the tweak this one for next year.
