First pumpkin beer ever.
Appearance: Pours a golden amber orange with two fingers of white head. Head sticks around for a while but not much lacing.
Smell: Nutmeg, allspice, pumpkin pie.
Taste: Pumpkin and spices up front and then finishes with a hint of tart cranberry. Love the cranberry finish to complement the pumpkin and spices that come in the beginning.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, slightly creamy. Would be better with a little more carbonation.
First pumpkin beer and I'm excited to try more. I know there are probably some fantastic pumpkin beers out there. Especially ones made with real pumpkin. However, I enjoyed this beer alot and I think the cranberry tartness makes this beer delicious.
