22oz. bottle poured into a tulip.
(A)- Pours a hazy pale yellow color. Some good pure white froth with surprising retention and lacing for the style.
(S)- A lively dry and funky band-aid0like grassiness. Every so slight hint of a fruity tartness in there.
(T)- I am not familiar with yuzu fruit, but there is an obvious fruity profile to the taste throughout that kind of reminds me of a lemon combined with cantalope. The same dry funky band-aid grassiness from the smell. Ever so slightly sweet on the finish. Not really tart or sour really.
(M)- A nice lively carbonation level. I like the combo of dryness and the fruit, but a little too medicinal in the middle; could use some tartness to really drive this home.
(O)- Its not bad. I appreciate some of its characters and using a unique fruit I have never heard of, but otherwise, a bit disappointing for a berliner, and from a brewery I know can do good sours.
