Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a New Belgium Globe glass. Bottled in June 2013.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy and crisp golden orange with a lot of bubbles. About one finger of white head that quickly fades away. Leaves a light amount of lacing.

Smell: A very zesty wheat driven aroma with big hints of citrus fruit and yeast. Upfront presence of wheat and pale malt with hints of grains, straw, and crackers. Big hints of yeast and some tart Brett funk hints. Big citrus fruit presence with hints of the Yuzu, grapefruit, orange, lemons, melon, mango, and apricot. Also some white wine like hints of grapes. Fairly sweet, tart, and acidic smelling. Pretty nice aroma.

Taste: Like the nose hints at, a nicely tart and sweet wheat driven taste with big notes of citrus fruit and yeast. Wheat and soft pale malt with notes of grains, cracker, and straw. Funky yeast with notes of Brett. Light wine like note of white grape. Very juicy presence of citrus fruit with notes of Yuzu, grapefruit, orange, lemons, apricot, melon, and mango. Taste is fairly sweet and tart with a nice light bitter edge to it. Pretty nice taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a medium to high level of carbonation. Crisp, sweet, tart, and fairly acidic. Finishes somewhat dry. No sign of alcohol heat.

Overall: A pretty good twist on a Berliner Weiss. Good tart wheat and yeast presence with a nice zesty kick of citrus fruit.

A: Pours a slightly hazed pale gold with a thin off white head.

S: Slightly tart wheat, lemon hard candy, light funk, ginger and lemongrass. The sweetness in here is pretty heavy, especially for the style.

T: Light lemon mixed with overripe green apple upfront. Lots of sweetness with a good amount of pale malt and heavy wheat sweetness. The flavor pretty much stays the same throughout, with a chalky dryness creeping up near the finish. Maybe a touch of funk on the back of the tongue, but nothing about this says Berliner Weiss to me at all. Very one dimensional and it's not the best dimension. I don't think I'd get this again.

The appearance was a slightly hazy light gold color that poured with about 1/2 foamy head. As drinking it I noticed it had moderate lacing along the glass.

It smelled pleasant with light aromas of citrus and a hint of sour notes.

I really enjoyed this beer's taste. It is not overwhelming at all. It sweet, light and refreshing.

Over all I would say its a decent beer for a hot afternoon after you just cut the grass.

22oz brown bomber with no freshness date.

Look: Mildly hazed straw hue, slowly dissapating head leads to a thin lace on the glass.

Smell: Quince paste, fresh aloe, yeast, mild graininess, wild herbs, vegtal

Taste: Super crisp, a bit chewy, faint tartness, clementine pith, yeast, doughy bread, mildly juicy, quick drying finish

Berliner Weiss? An Imperial one at that? Misses the mark there, obviously a wheat beer but the pulling dryness and big tartness is simply not there. So we are looking at a big flavored wheat beer ... if it was categorized as such it would probably have a higher score.
