Pours a hazy gold with a nice amount of carbonation. Thin white head with a bit of lacing. So far, so good. Smells of lemon or perhaps grapefruit. Also i get some more floral notes in there. OOoo the taste is good. Solidly hopped with a smooth finish. I get more grapefruit in the taste as well as that white IPA taste. It reminds me of the only other white IPA i've ever had, Chainbreaker from Deschutes Brewery except it's more mellow and less hoppy. I love the mouthfeel, carbonated well but with texture in mind, it finishes smoothly. Overall i really like this beer. I wish this was a year-round offering as I really like the idea of a white IPA other than Chainbreaker, for when i want hops and texture without the intensity of the regular and Imperial IPAs.
