A- Pours a somewhat pale golden color. Head is two fingers, bone white, with good retention and a lot of lacing. Based on description I was expecting some haze, but not really to be. A lot of carbonation bubbles streaming up
S- Smell is mild. Some relatively bready aromas with some cut grass. Was looking for more here, as it is neither really "white ale"ish or particularly hoppy.
T- The flavor comes through quite a bit. Grassy, herbal, and a bit of citrus. They bill this as a white IPA and I am trying to figure out where the white ale plays into the flavor. The hop profile is somewhat similar to New Belgium's Rampant, albeit much toned down.
M- There isn't much going on here. Pretty thin in body and carb. Somewhat dry finish. Really light and goes down too easy.
O- I like the hop profile here but it is kind of forgetable. The body is a pretty big let down. Not bad, but not worth going back.
