It is a smaller store located not too far from Binny's.

It is stocked with about two aisles of craft and imports. There were some surprise European beers here along with a decent American selection. I was very brief in here so I didn't really get too look around too hard for anything interesting in the American aisle.

There was also some craft in the coolers along with macros.

This used to be my go to store when I worked in the area. The beer guys are extremely friendly and accommodating, they even would hold beers for me, it is a shame i can't go there as often.

This has been my go-to spot for craft brews for over 2 years. The selection is great and only getting better. The beer guy, Josh, is the man. He's definitely in the know when it comes to the liquid gold. He's always trying to get the good stuff and he's willing to get things they don't necessarily carry. They are continuously revamping shelf/cooler setups to maximize space for more variety. To get anything good out of that Binny's down the street or most others you need to be unemployed and be there at odd hours or pay the beer guy. At a risk of spoiling my own spot, I'm definitely suggesting this Cardinal.

Cheers!

Seems that there was an ownership change at some point. Lots of dusty old beer, still a few Cahoots bombers. Remember those? Otherwise the selection has gone downhill a bit in quality. Fair amount of craft in the coolers, but I stuck with a couple shelf Brett beers that were ok with some age. It’s starting to look like a beer graveyard unfortunately. Score is pretty inaccurate.

2012:
Stopped in here today on the way back from the airport. Strip mall location but with their own cordoned off section of the parking lot, and tow signs if you go anywhere else in the strip mall. Bacik Deli, I hardly knew ye :(

Walking in, through a turnstile there are beer coolers along the righthand side of the wall and a full couple aisles just to the left. Noticed a few Upright 750's, singles of Flying Dog limited stuff, and 750's of Argus London Porter. A couple from Jolly Pumpkin, the NB Lips of Faith series, Daisy Cutter, and a good range of six packs. Old singles of a some Russian lager for 99 cents.

They advertised a $1 off all Belgians for Belgian Independence Day, but I didn't see any lambics aside from Lindemans so I passed (nice promotion though). OK sixer selection in the cold case, but majority of craft on warm shelves. For the area, Binnys has a larger selection, and Liquor Barn has more imports. This may be the secondary place to go, depending what you're after, but its a tidy shop with a good selection, better than most Cardinal locations. Checkout was quick and friendly, didn't really see a beer person around. Please note: Schmeisser's down the street is a pretty awesome butcher shop (RIP 2018).

Stopped in here after a stop at the nearby Binny's, mostly to compare selection and prices. It's a small-ish place, which seems even smaller thanks to the layout. The beer is on the right side, toward the back. The couple aisles of craft are pretty nice, indeed, mixing bombers and sixers of great stuff. Nothing too rare to be found here, but more than enough to make a beer geek happy. There wasn't a sign of anyone working there, save for the cashier, who was talking with a friend of hers the whole time. Granted, I didn't need any help or anything, but an ask would have been nice... The prices are fair for the area, pretty much identical to Binny's in most respects. Overall, a nice spot, but if I'm gonna be buying beer around here, I'm going to Binny's first.

Pretty good selection for reasonable prices with a knowledgeable staff to help you out. I've bought most of my beers here including a couple of Unibroue, Weihenstephaner, a great selection of Dogfish Head and New Holland and other craft beers. I only wish they had a better selection of beers for their mix-a-six. Also a huge selection of Polish beers, which are very interesting. Charlie (the beer guy) has helped me plenty in making selections and also has seen about getting me stuff from his distributors for me when I ask - Not long ago I asked about Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripel and he said all he had was a different Chouffe, I believe La Chouffe. Next time I was in there I saw Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripel newly sitting on a shelf. He must have ordered it after I had asked him about it and decided to stock it.
