Appearance: Pours a ruddy-brown body with a meager, off-white head.
Smell: A faint-scented medley of biscuit, roast, dehydrated herbs and a twinge of fruit.
Taste: A mild, toasty dry biscuit quality, sweetish tones of crystal malt. A little estery fruitiness with a far-off hint of cherry cola. Herbal hoppiness yields minimal bitterness. The flavors just sort of peter out.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Fairly unremarkable.

From a BOM can into a pint glass. Pour had light beige foam head with a clear reddish-copper brown body. Scent is that of a balanced red ale -- neither too malty nor too hoppy as the caramel and toasty notes rise against some hoppy citrus zest. Taste follows exceptionally well, adding just a touch of cocoa (both sweet and bitter). Feel is medium bodied with a slightly bitter aftertaste lingering on. Overall a very even keeled red ale.

A Microbrewed Club offering. Pours a dark red color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of roasted malts. Taste is malty and slightly bitter. Crisp and dry.

Dark for an amber ale. Not much in the aroma to distinguish it. Inoffensive taste was malty and mildly fruity. Noticed a bit more hops in the finish. A local brew that's been around for awhile and had some loyal followers, but seems dated at present.

A- dark red color that is opaque. Minimal head and poor lacing.
S- bready chocolate malts
T- metallic chocolate with hints of cocoa and yesty malt.
M- medium bodied. the chocolate is a nice touch but the metallic back end takes away from it.
O- not a bad red and i am not a fan. I wouldnt drink it again but it was good.

12oz bottle undated from AC. Amber color and malt/chocolate nose. Taste included mocha, malt and caramel. Easy drinking and smooth. A good beer but not outstanding. Maybe not our favorite type of beer.
