This medium-bodied, amber German-style lager combines frighteningly smooth malt flavor with a haunting spicy finish of cinnamon and nutmeg, for a scary good brew that is definitely...all treat, no trick.

Good beer, definitely tastes German, pumpkin spiciness is loud and clear but definitely a sort of Oktoberfest style lager first and foremost, solidly executed for what it is.

These pumpkin lagers are new to me - and I'm really liking them - like this one. Great looking, dark copperish coloration, the smell is sweet and delicious, and the mouthfeel is light and crisp. The taste is muted on pumpkin, high on spice, not well balanced but it doesn't detract from the overall experience. Definitely a solid pumpkin offering.

The pour was a deep golden color with a haze. The head was about an inch thick of a tan white color. The taste to me was like a regular Oktoberfest but with a hint of pumpkin. Overall, this is one I'll be drinking again.

Very similar idea as the beer I had the night before (Munchen on Pumpkin from Devil's Backbone). A good lager that just happens to have pumpkin spices too!! Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured a mostly clear brownish/amber color with a lot of light coming through. The medium sized off-white/light khaki head had better than average retention and there were lots of patches of light filmy lacing on the glass. A good looking beer!!!! Aroma and taste were mostly rich bready and caramel malt with some pumpkin spicing and a little vanilla. Very pleasant, with the pumpkin spices subdued. The rich malty beer was featured, the pumpkin spices were a mild enhancement. Mouthfeel was rich and slightly sweet. A very easy sipper!!!! I would drink this one again.

The pour is mahogany brown colored with a fair amount of carbonation. The taste is pumpkin, mild pumpernickel bread note, cinnamon, & all spice. Cheers! B

From the can, it pours a clear pumpkiny amber color with a nice off-white head that slowly reduces. Pumpkin spice in the nose. The mouth gets a sharp pumpkin spice flavor with a roasty caramelly malt base. Mild caramelly aftertaste.
