A: Cloudy, orange-amber hue, with a thin half-finger of head, which faded to leave a modest amount of lacing.

S: Sweet, fruity hops, then citrusy hops, then floral hops (I'm sensing a theme here...) Finally, I get a whiff of grassy, grainy malt.

T: Sweet malt and tart, fruity flavors hit at the same time, with sweetness getting the upper hand for a moment, before the breadier grain flavors take over. Next it's bitter, resiny hops which meld with grassy flavors and jostle back and forth as they fade into the finish.

M: Crisp and fairly well carbonated. A little oily. Booze is well hidden. Just a hint of dryness at the end.

O: Not a true hop-head's dream, but hops do play front and center. A solid IPA without being too in-your-face, and one I'd recommend to someone new to the style.

A: Pale yellow brown in color, slightly hazy, with a porous tan head on top.

S: Orange peel and tangerine candy. There's citrus and caramel in there but also something that isn't like the typical IPA citrus smell.. Perhaps something interesting from the motueka hops, almost like candied orange peel. Very nice.

T: Caramel and orange peel, followed by grapefruit bitterness and a slightly earthy flavor. Good balance of sweet and bitter, and an interesting citrus flavor I haven't come across before.

M: Medium in body, high carbonation, an almost syrupy feel to it. Good lingering bitterness.

O: Very interesting beer. Some new and interesting flavors, and definitely well put together. I think the moniker of Hell hazer seems like a bit of stretch, but it certainly a fine brew.
