A - Poured into a tulip glass with some fervor. Tan colored head with pitch black body. Head is fluffy and bubbly, and fades after a few minutes, but never disappears entirely. Thick lacing all around glass.

S - The smell is INCREDIBLE. It smells like a peanut butter cup! I can literally taste the peanuts, so intense. Some hints of milk chocolate and a few hints of salt, but the peanut butter is the big player here.

T - Tastes just like it smells. Huge showing from the peanut butter. Saltiness like salted, roasted peanuts. Flavors of milk chocolate, toffee, some caramel, a hint of hazelnut, some twangs of saltine cracker and maybe even some chocolate fudge heaviness. The peanut butter is heaviest on the way down, like having a mouthful of fresh roasted peanuts, absolutely delicious!

M - Very thick, even a little sticky. Very good, coats the walls of my mouth with chocolate peanut butter goodness and hangs on for dear life.

O - A unique and novel beer. But a unique and novel beer done extremely well. The flavors are intense and natural, the color and look are perfect, and most importantly, it truly lives up to its name. I couldn't resist shouting out its namesake after my first sip. It truly is a wonderful porter, and a must have for any fans of chocolate, peanut butter, and dark beers.

No date spotted on the bottle.

A: Pours a nice dark brown. Big frothy light brown head. Head fades out slowly, with nary a trace of lacing. Decent retention at least.

S: Well, true to the name, there is a whole bunch of peanut butter and chocolate. Kinda smells like a less-sweet peanut butter cup. Very nice, if slightly artificial smelling (it kinda smells like my chocolate pb cup protein powder actually, now that I think of it).

T: More of the same. Peanut butter initially and the chocolate joins in in the middle. Aftertaste is dry peanuts.

M: Somewhat thin but otherwise smooth. Quite dry in the finish.

O: On one hand it's a pretty simple porter. Some peanut butter, some chocolate and that's about it. On the other hand, that's what it's supposed to be, and they pulled it off nicely. Very tasty and unique. Well done!

Poured into a Tulip glass

A - Very very dark brown pretty much black, with a light brown one inch head...fading quickly. No lacing...barley.

S - It literally smells like a cocoa peanut butter cup it smells awesome. Maybe some dark fruit but too much chocolate peanut butter to even really notice it. it smells very similar to Shake's "Chocolate Porter'...which is another fantastic sweet chocolatey porter.

T/M - very nice medium slightly creamy mouth feel, and all you get on the palate is slight bitterness, chocolate and hints of peanut butter. Couldn't have more then like two of these in a sitting though. Drinks very smooth and some bitterness stays with you after swallowing...mildly carbonated and delicious.

Overall, i had to try this and i don't regret it...i wouldn't rush out to get it again but it was definitely a solid pick up. check it out if you haven't!
