I made it by Blind Lady today to try the new Imperial Coffee Brown ale.

Slow pour yields a rich amber/brown, near black body, with a two finger tan head. Fades fast leaving patchy lace and ring.

Nose is subtle roasty coffee beans. Hints of milk chocolate.

Creamy mouthfeel. Coffee is evident and pleasantly balanced. Dry on the tongue, but balanced still.

Went over to BLAH to try Lee's new brew!

The pour produces a solid 2 fingers head with a nice light light brown tinge to it.

the smell is medium roast rich coffee with a hint a malt sweetness in the back.

the taste is more of the smell. The coffee shows through the entire palate. not overpowering by any means, it allows the loght sweetness of the brown to show through and intermingle.

the mouthfeel is the only thing that I wish was better. it is somewaht thin. just a little thicker and this brew would be perfect!

over drinkablility is great. could easily drink several pints of this!
