Served as a pale ywllow colored beer with modest white puffy head. Smell is lightly malty combined with a slight wisp of fruit. Taste is initially sweet with an enjoyable crispness also showing through. Finishes very sweet and malty, and nicely refreshing. A very nice easy-to-drink beer.

Pours a transparent pale straw with a finger of bright white head, leaving a small amount of lacing on the way down. Nose is a light clean malt with a faint hint of apple peels. Taste is a grainy somewhat wheaty malt balanced by a just a hint of spicy hops. Medium bodied with a high level of fine carbonation, this is a really good refreshing summer brew. This is a solid kolsh, the only one I've been able to taste fresh, and it stands up against the best bottled examples I've tried.

The beer poured a light gold with a nice bit of white head. The aroma was of light hops and malt. The taste was quite a surprise, it was of nice sweet malt wrapped in hops. This sort of seperation and blending of the the malt and hops made for a really enjoyable beer. The feel was light and crisp. This was a good beer. I had never been a great fan of kolsch, but getting a fresh one made me understand the devotion to this style in it's native areas. It hasn't supplanted my favorite styles, but I will be back to the brewery for more of these. It seems that the Kolsch has been added to the regular lineup.

A crystal clear straw-gold body is topped by a short head of bright white foam. The head holds nicely before eventually dropping to a standard collar after a few sips. Unfortunately, it leaves no lace to enhance it's beautiful appearance. The nose displays a delicate malt and a light touch of crisp-apple fruitiness. In the mouth, it's medium body and and fine-bubbled, median carbonation leave it nicely crisp. The flavor delivers the delicate, grainy malt that the nose promised along with a touch of wheat. It's very well balanced by a mild bitterness and some light, spicy hop flavor. Clean, crisp and refreshing... a good example of the style!
