Located in Old Town St.Charles. My girlfriend and I went there last night 2/25/2009, Wedsnday night and empty, not a problem. They have about 20 beers on tap and 70 bottles. Most of the selection is mass produced beer, natural lite was the worst beer on the menu. They had alot of Bell's though which was nice and they had my recent favorite beer on tap; Bell's Hopslam! mmmm... When I ordered the Hopslam it was brought with a quarter inch head. The first beer I ordered was Bell's brown ale and it was brought to me ice cold with no glass (I had to request a glass and a plain budwiser cup was brought). Food was nothing special. I wanted to eat lite last night so I ordered a BLT, sandwich was bland and bacon was undercooked. I have eaten there twice now and was unimpressed both times. Prices were not bad although the Hopslam 12 oz was $7.00 (highest priced beer there) The rest were $3-6.50.
Better beers on menu: Bell's; amber, best brown, hopslam(on tap), kalamazoo stout, pale ale, (seasonal), third coast. Delerium; nocturnum, tremens. anchor steam, fat tire(on tap), hoegarden(on tap), new castle(on tap) franziskanker(on tap) smithwicks(on tap). Ofallon; 5 day IPA, wheat, pumpkin.
