I have used bottle trek twice to get some Oregon beers to Maine that are not distributed out here. Has worked great and I will defintiely use them again.
They have a good selection, and it's reasonably priced. (Expect to pay about 2x retail when shipping is factored in though--this is worth it on occasion to get beers you otherwise couldn't).
Service is great. Shipping is quick. Have it shipped to your workplace so that it can be signed for (no signatures under 21 are accepted). And check their shipping site to make sure they can send to your state. Highly recommend to anyone!
Only complaint: their website, while good, does not make it as easy as it could be to find beers. They should redo their search function and make it more user-friendly.

I've placed a couple of orders and have zero problems. Both times an item was out of stock but I received a phone call from Lisa right away.
Another time was waiting on a limited release and she kept updating me via email as to when the beer would come in.
Shipping, like most places is expensive, but that is pretty much out of their hands.
Recommendation: I would like to see a revamping of the web site to better access the entire beer inventory rather than having to go into each style / sub-style.
I'd definitely use them again.

Ordered 4 Hopworks, 1 Deschutes and 1 Laurelwood for $60 shipped to the east coast. Was sent 2 incorrect Hopworks DOAs instead of Stouts. When notified of the mistake, they sent the correct Stouts the next day. Both shipments came quick. 8 hard to get duece dueces for $60 ... not bad. Was hoping for some Russian River, Drakes or Kern River from Cali would be available, but got a feeling when I have my ipa/stout entry to the tasting contest in 2 weeks, I will fair well.
Very good customer service and quick. Will use them again.

Bad Communication! No product! I received a a $100.00 gift certificate for an xmas gift in December 2010. I attempted to use the certificate for products at Bottle Trek. There were delivery issues on the product. I attempted to resolve tthe issues with Bottle Trek via phone four times over a period of weeks with zero contact from Bottle Trek. I seek for a full refund of the gift certifcate of $100.00 to the address listed on this complaint. Bottle Trek is non resonsive to my request for product delivery therefore seek a monetary refund for the full amount fo the gift certificate as no product was delivered. Bad Communication! No product!

I made an online purchase of a beer I was craving and put in an order.
First off, communication was excellent and Bottle Trek kept me informed every step of the way from acknowledging my order to sending me tracking info. The time between the 2 was quick smart!
Anywho, I ordered the beers and they came excellently boxed up and I enjoyed 1 soon after I got the box. Delicious.(Midnight Sun Monk's Mistress.
They have a very good selection of beers at reasonable prices and I did update my online beer stores website to show which states they *do* ship to. It was a very easy transaction and I can only recommend them heartily. Folks living in their area...you got a good one.

I've placed a few orders with these guys over the past year, and I have yet to rue a single one. The selection is pretty sweet, if a bit on the small side. They often have some nice rarities, like Abyss, Jubel, and TREAT, among others. They specialize in the PNW brews, but there's some bottles from elsewhere as well. The pricing ranges from great to kinda steep, with the shipping leaning toward the latter (though I don't think it's the highest I've paid online). I have only had an issue with one shipment (they sent me the wrong bottle once), but the service folk were quick to respond to my concerns, allowing me to keep the mistakenly-shipped bottle and sending out the one I ordered in a more-than-timely manner. Overall, this is one of my few regular online beer stops, and I don't foresee it leaving the group anytime soon.

Have placed around 5-6 online orders through this company. Everytime they have been very accomodating. They shipped in a timely manner except for once because one of the beers I ordered was on back order. I did have to contact them to find out why my order hadn't shipped yet, but my request was answered immediately. Other than that I have nothing but great things to say about the company.
The website is easy to navigate. Beers are sorted a couple of different ways which is nice. They keep a section of new realeases and sales as well. I like the search feature the best. Other sites I have been on require you to scroll though pages of beers.
I even requested that they ask Fedex to deliver in the evening to ensure I will be home to sign for the package and they did so. Not only that, but they have now applied this to all of my orders even without me asking. Great company. I highly recommend.

Looked around at a few websites and this site was by far the best one. I placed my order and had it in had 10 days later. The selection(which I am sure is every changing) was awesome and the prices were reasonable. The website was easily managable and I was able to navigate it to select various styles from various brewers.
I plan on buying more West Coast/Pac NW beers from them again in the near future. I have heard of other sites getting good reviews but to me this is the place to buy West Coast stuff. I wold highly recommend this site to any East Coast beer lover in search of stuff from the opposite coast.
My only problem was that there vintage and rare section did not seem to have much of either. From other sites that I have been too they seem to have a bigger selection of rare and vintage stuff but Bottletrek seemed to be lacking a little in that area. Maybe it was the time of year but there were only a few choices and none of them were remarkable.

I have used this as an online store, so my comments do not apply to in person visits.
Having said that, it has a very easy to use and intuitive website, divided by country of origin or beer style. Some groups overlap, and I could not find a big list going over every single beer they had, which was the only website limitation.
They have a nice beer selection, particularly west coast beers, but also from other parts of the country and imports, reasonable prices, good packaging and efficient, quick delivery.
They answer e-mails pretty quickly, and efficiently.
