Pours medium amber with a little haze and an off-white head. retention to a ring. No lace.
Some light spice, lots of woody vanilla and cream, some sweet fruit and strong sweet caramel. The cream/vanilla dominates.
Creamy caramel malt, with nice sweetness and a touch of vanilla again. Caramel, some mild bitterness, some mild fruit. Beer clears to maltiness that is a bit nutty and very smooth.
Medium body, mild carbonation.
A bit richer version of the summer brew. Cream ale with some intensity and caramel. Barely spiced. Very drinkable, but I wonder how I'd do with a 6 of this...A couple might be enough.

Poured into a Samuel Adams glass it's head disappeared quickly. Color was deep amber with a faint chocolate and raisin odor. Taste was pretty much the same with a slightly bitter taste of unsweetened chocolate. Mouth feel was thick like porter or stout and low carbonation. I didn't like the spices so I won't try this again.
