I had this on tap at Porters in Easton PA. What a wonderfully unique and tasty beer. I have never had anything quite like this before. I have never had a Cream Ale before. If this is an acurate representation of the style then I will need to peruse it some more. Mmm
Appearance: Bright amber copper red with and off white-head.
Smell: Toasted malts and caramel aromas with a bit of fruit like melon, and papaya, beside a wheat bread aroma fill the nose with many sensations.
Taste: The taste has a good amount of depth. It made me think of caramel drizzled on a fruit salad with vanilla pears, grapes, honeydew, and then it is balanced by some spices and gentle hop character.
Mouthfeel: Remarkably soft smooth acnd cream like a cream soda with a oily slick juice center. Exceptional.
Drinkability: It is a bit sweet to be a session beer but boy is it tasty and *very* easy to put one down on a warm summer afternoon.
Hope this is helpful.
