Cream Ale |  5.00% ABV

Availability: Summer

Notes/Commercial Description:
Our Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale is a slightly sweet, malty session beer with a creamy mouth feel and clean finish. With hints of caramel in the nose and a touch of spice, it’s become affectionately known as “cream soda for adults”. The unique flavors and superior drinkability make for the ultimate refreshment on a hot summer day.

Pours out bright amber and sits a radiant copper brown in the glass with a large soapy beige head, fading quickly to a thin skim holding to the edges.

Smells of rich, caramel soaked toasty malts and mild toffee. Sweet to the nose, lifting baked apples and pie crust.

Tastes mildly sweet up front, faint fruity notes of apples, golden raisins and dates. Malts dominate, as hops present a faint bitterness towards the finish, soft and grassy.

Totally refreshing and bursting with flavor, how could you go wrong? Moderate carbonation, medium-light bodied. Good alternative to the always refreshing Pilsener or Hefeweizen.

Poured from can into Oskar Blues pint glass a semi-cloudy amber, with huge off-white head. No discernible lace.

Nose is nicely toasted grains and malty. Kinda sweet, too. Maybe a slightly aged can?

Taste is smooth and malty-sweet, with plenty of toasty grain flavors. This is an easy-to-drink beer, light and flavorful. A solid and worthy warm weather brew.
