Poured on tap at the HopCat.
A - Poured with a decent head that held up for a little while. Lacing was excellent around the head but was weaker as I drank until nothing was present almost half way down. Looked a lighter than expected golden color.
S - Lots of malt seemed to confuse the aroma on this one, definate floral tones.
T - Floral hops are heavily present. It gives it a lighter feel that I was not a fan of. Still looking past personal preference it was a good brew. Not as hoppy as I would expect from an AIPA. However it was balanced well with the malts.
M/D - The balance made the beer go down well. It was very drinkable although I probably would not order again. The carbonation was light, but not terribly so. Drinkability was decent, I could feel it a little which I would not have guessed with the taste. It actually felt in the high 5s in alcohol, not 7%.
Serving type: on-tap
