A very clear amber orange brew with an off-white head that is about 1/4" thick. A floral hoppy aroma is welcoming along with hints of lemon and honey. Boy, this is a hoppy beer, not that I have a problem with that, it's just that it is more bitter than I care for. Leaves a metallic finish and so far, no showing of the honeysoaked malts as mentioned on the bottle. There is some lemon zing, it just feels like lemon juice squeezed from those little plastic lemons. I guess I want more malt flavor to balance the hop flavor a little. The floral hops dominate, just not the hop flavor I am used to, I guess. Not bad, but I prefer Stone's IPA. The bite does mellow a little further along.
