An aggressive, down the center pour yields a couple inches of dense tan head atop a slightly hazed orange-amber colored ale. The head goes rocky and laces up good and sticky. Nice start!
Pungent fruity hops in the nose. Pine spice notes as well, with not a lot of malt balance. Taste is an explosion of fruit and spice from the hops. Not s sharp citrus bite, but more earthy and sweet, which compliments the light malt sweetness for an overall sweet effect. Perfumey in the middle as the bitter bite from the hops takes over. Not a trace of alcohol in the taste that I can detect. Finishes sweet on the tongue and bitter in the back of the mouth. Nice.
A bigger bodied, smooth IPA, harsh from hops but smooth in the feel. I will easily finish this bomber and long for another.
