Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance - Poured a cloudy burnt orange color. HUGE head of cloudy white foam that stuck around throughout the tasting. Tremendous lacing. Good amount of carbonation.
Smell - Had a light and bright floral aroma. Caught scents of both banana and lemon.
Taste - Bold flavor at first, then slowly mells into a rich floral bitterness. Balanced hop flavor lingers throughout.
Mouthfeel - Medium body with a pillowy creaminess.
Overall - Nicely balanced IPA. Plenty of body, strong but mellow hoppiness. Extremely drinkable. Excellent overall beer. I am excited to try other offerings from Anderson Valley.
