A - A solid looking finger of dense eggwhite colored foam rises above a slightly hazy orange-amber brew that looks like it has an almost purple cast at times. The head is small but pretty, and it leaves a little bit of really crusty lace on the glass. Swirling produces more head, and retention is pretty damn good.
S - Mandarin orange is very prevalent, with lively rind/zest notes too. The juicy citrus hop profile is gorgeous, and they are backed up by some solid biscuity malts too. Very nice.
T - Again, this is extremely juicy, fresh, and fruity. The hops take on more complexity in the mouth, and I can pick out mandarin orange, pineapple, and some grapefruit too. This is almost perfectly balanced since the awesome hops are almost matched in intensity with the tight and firm malt flavors.
M - Medium bodied with tons of structure and fairly aggressive carbonation. The finish is extremely bitter and quite dry as well. Damn fine stuff!
D - On of the best IPAs I've had in quite some time. I've been getting a few stinkers recently, and this one has renewed my faith in one of the most common styles in the good beer stores. This is a sipping beer, not really a session brew but I would drink two or three slowly and enjoy every drop. Pour this into a snifter to catch all of the nice hoppy aromatics.

Poured from a 12 oz can (gasp) into a tulip.
A - Deep amber with about a finger of creamy light tan head. Sporadic lacing down the glass.
S - Floral and citrusy hops. I thought it would be a little more in your face (or nose), though.
T - Bitter earthy hops, but well balanced and a bright finish.
M - Full bodied up front but finishes clean and dry like an IPA should.
O - Whereas some west coast IPAs go for nothing but hop flavor and aroma, this is really well balanced while still maintaining the signature floral hop notes.

355ml bottle. Shaker glass. Orangish amber color headed by white & wide crown. Piney, citric –orange & grapefruit- aromas, slight caramel malt & floral notes. Bitter upfront yields to a gentle sweet toasted flavor. Medium body. Moderate to soft carbonation. Honey hues in the middle are swept out by hoppiness that lingers into an extended bitter finish.
