Appearance: Wonderful white foam with excellent lacing, possibly the best of any IPA. Copper in color, as the bottle claims.
Smell: Pine and resin. Herbal perfume smell. Flowers and some grapefruit and caramel. This would be a 5 if it were a tad bolder.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Strong strong grapefruit. Flowers in the background. Chamomile, grass, and orange peel are also evident. There is a spice, but I can't quite pinpoint it. Possibly nutmeg, which I gather from the smell as well. There's an extra bitterness at the bottom that's quite yeasty. Not the cleanest mouthfeel, but it fits with the rest of the beer: elegant yet somehow unrefined.
Overall Drinkability: Very boozy, but it doesn't smell/taste as such. A surprising IPA, and one that I will look for in the future.
