Pours from the can hazy amber with a good two finger chunky head. Leaves thick lacing all over the glass, retention is just about average. Appealing.

Caramel malt, fruit sweetness like that of pears, tangerine and white grape juice. Hops hidden amongst the sweetness, slight pine, more oranges and herbal bitter tones.

Sweet malt, rather sticky with sugary white fruit, candied pears, clementines and vinous fruit like white grapes. Hops are understated here presenting garden vegetable dirt, pine and herb flavor on the back end with a decent amount of bitterness, not enough to completely dry the stickiness of the malt. Alcohol mingles with the bitter finish and a metallic twinge.

Light ipa, a bit chalky on the finish and sticky. Average carbonation.

A bit bothersome that the hops present themselves only in the bitterness department, the malt profile while sticky is nicely complex. Light drinker that is easy to put down, just not what I like in an IPA.

Beer bottle (33 cl.) purchased from La Souffleur de Bière, and tasted 2013.

Appearance : amber color, with white foamy head (w lacing).
Smell : hops, malty and caramel aromas
Taste & mouthfeel : malty and dry hoppy flavors, leading with nice bitter finish.
Drinkability : a nice beer in the style American IPA.

Pours a slightly cloudy copper with a thick, chunky head that sticks to the cup. Flavor is fine here, piney and quite bitter but with good balance, and a very well crafted soft mouth feel. Not an incredibly distinct IPA but a very good reproduction of the style. An any time solid choice at a bar or from the bottle.

Growler poured into a Snifter glass.

A - Pours a orange amber with a two finger head. Head retention is good.

S - Sweet malts and citrus fruits. Hops!

T - Caramel malts, some fruit up front. Bittering hops, Sweet malt Finish.

M - Medium bodied, bitter sweet palate and with a good amount of carbonation.

O - A Very malty, bitter IPA. Pretty good IPA, will get again.
